Hawaii have a well established co-operative for sheep and goat producers. The Hawaii Sheep and Goat Association is dedicated to supporting and advancing Hawaii’s sheep and goat industry through education, collaboration, advocacy, and sustainable livestock management practices. The association promotes responsible animal husbandry, pasture and parasite management, environmental stewardship, and regenerative agriculture while fostering a strong network of producers, ranchers, homesteaders, educators, and agricultural partners across the Hawaiian Islands. Through outreach, training, and community engagement, the organization works to strengthen local food security, improve producer success, and encourage the long-term sustainability of Hawaii’s small ruminant industry.
